Ice hockey and skating in St. Pölten

NiceHockey sessions in St. Pölten take place at the ice rink in Sportzentrum Niederösterreich. The meeting point on your booking is at the locker rooms, Bimbo-Binder-Promenade 5, 3100 St. Pölten. The rink has glass boards and sports changing rooms and is used for ice hockey and figure skating, among other things.

For training sessions the meeting time is 2:15 p.m. After the off-ice warmup and changing, ice time starts at 3:30 p.m. and the session ends at 5:30 p.m. You will also need indoor shoes and sports clothes. The separate Kickerl sessions in November have their own meeting times. They are free play, without a regular practice and without rental gear.

Getting to the sports centre

For the drive, use the session address Bimbo-Binder-Promenade 5. Tourism and operator pages also list Dr.-Adolf-Schärf-Straße 25 for the sports centre. If you arrive via St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof, plan the onward trip and the walk to the locker room. The lakes around the centre, the Viehofner Seen, are an easy walk before training. Seedose is on the shore, and the sports centre also has a hotel and food.
